  1. I’ve read this a few times over the past few days (and finally have time to comment!)

I’m reading through Redeeming Love with some ladies at church, so Hosea is heavy on my mind. This exact verse is the one I’ve been drawn to over and over during this time. (Are we surprised we’re pondering the same verse? 😉 ) Thank you for posting and reminding us that this is indeed who our God is!

    1. Well, no, Twin, I’m not too surprised. *laughs* He is. Amen and amen.

  2. Natasha… once again your post has touched my heart. Though my pain is different than yours I am blessed by the reminders of hope that at times I don’t see very clearly. I too am crawling and scraping. Thank you for so beautifully sharing your heart.

    1. Thank you, dear Peggy. I find it amazing how God uses all kinds of pain for the same end. May we all, truly, know him more. <3

  3. Thank you for these words…I cannot tell you what they, and you, mean to me in the shared sorrow of infertility. Now I think I need to go read Hosea.

    1. Oh, do! I could just sit and read Hosea day-in and day-out. So much beauty and promise.

Am thankful for you and how you can understand my heart. And your constant encouragement that with God nothing is impossible. <3

  4. Natasha, I have been following your blog for a few months now and just wanted to say that I am so encouraged by your posts. Thank you for “speaking God’s words” to those of us who are in the desert of Infertility. I am so thankful that He can make beauty from ashes. It is a gift to be able to see those things.

    1. Thank you for your encouragement. <3
He is an amazing God, who creates beauty out of the ugliest garbage heap.

  5. You fill me with the need to listen more closely. My heart hurts for you.

    1. Thank you for hearing my pain and my heart. You have blessed me. <3

  6. Wow, Natasha, I’m crawling and scraping right along with you! Prayers and love sent your way.

    1. Isn’t it amazing what community does for sorrow? Thank you. <3

  7. Thank you, Natasha, for sharing your heart. I, too, have felt sadness, jealousy & anger upon hearing of friends or family being blessed with a new little one. But God is GOOD. He has a plan for my life that is far greater than I could ever scheme and produce. Even after 12 years of marriage, and a family that has not grown beyond me and my husband, God has blessed. I may not understand it, but He is giving me joy and contentment in the midst of it.

    1. Thank you for this. He does, indeed, give us joy and contentment in the midst. <3

  8. Thanks for sharing your journey, Natasha. I love that even though He might lead us into deserts, He never intends it to be our final destination.
    Blessings to you,
    Susan

    1. Isn’t that the amazing thing about Him? Our sight is so limited. We look around and think, “Guess this is it”. But He sees far, far beyond. 🙂
