  1. Stopping over for a visit. Thank you, kindred spirit, for your recent comments on my blog.
This post is absolutely beautiful. A year ago after a broken engagement/relationship, I bought a journal and began filling it with just 5 things a day for which I could give thanks. Some days it’s really hard and some days it makes me smile.
My heart aches for you in your struggles with infertility. I’m not married so I can’t relate on that level, but I do have a long history with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) and I know the pain the came with the diagnosis, medications, and surgery. Have you ever heard of Creighton Medical University/Dr. Thomas Hilgers in Omaha? He has been a Godsend for me. I don’t know your details, but if you are interested, you could google him or ask me more.

    On the journey,
    Laura

  2. It is amazing how many people the truth of the book “One Thousand Gifts” has touched. I’ve felt my life change, as I slowly accept the lessons my Maker has been trying to teach me for years. Weeks ago, I gave thanks for infertility for the first time. I am confused, and I hurt. But, I also give thanks. At the table of brokeness, I am finding joy and grace. Little bit a time. But its coming. Today is a hard day though . . . hard to know how to get through days when the ache is stronger than the joy.
