The Christian Woman’s Guide to Infertility (a blog series)
Last summer I was walking down the dirt road behind our farm and for the first time in years felt like I had something more to say about infertility than what I originally wrote in Pain Redeemed.
I went home, opened a new document, and began writing like crazy.
Everything poured out in a rapid, deep offering. After a decade of infertility, there was a lot of stuff I wanted to say—and I finally knew how I wanted to say it.
I thought maybe it would be another book, but when I finished writing there wasn’t a book there. It was more like a really, really long set of notes.
I would occasionally read through the chapters, trying to think of how to lengthen the story—but I hate adding fill to things. I’d rather have meaty deep stuff in one fell swoop than have to search through fluff for things of value.
I picked out a couple parts and made single blog posts out of them, but I really wanted to share the complete writings in some way.
This January, I finally had an idea. It’s taken me a while to get things together but over the next six weeks I’m going to be sharing a blog series with you titled The Christian Woman’s Guide to Infertility: Finding Hope and Healing even without a Baby and at the end all my newsletter subscribers will receive a PDF download of the entire series that can be printed and used freely in group or individual settings.
(If you’re not a newsletter subscriber yet, you can change that by going here and signing up!)
I pray these words will be an encouragement and inspiration toward seeking the Father in deeper and fuller ways, even as you walk through the struggle of infertility.
Here is a quick peek at the upcoming posts in the series:
- Infertility Doesn’t Define Me
- Infertility Doesn’t Define My Faith
- Infertility Doesn’t Define My Marriage
- Infertility Doesn’t Define My Relationships
- Infertility Doesn’t Define My Heart
I’m looking forward to sharing over the next weeks with you and I pray that Father is glorified with each moment.
Blessings,
Natasha
